A year and a half ago, I touched a catchball for the very first time — and it was truly love at first touch.
What started as curiosity quickly became one of the biggest passions in my life. Catchball gave me so much more than just a sport. It gave me purpose, strength, confidence, and an incredible community of women who lift each other up both on and off the court.
As the captain of a brand new team, I had the privilege of growing together with an amazing group of ladies. We learned together, struggled together, celebrated together, and built something that became so much bigger than just games and practices. Watching our team evolve from a group of individuals into a true family has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Catchball became my outlet — the place where I can challenge myself, release stress, feel empowered, and reconnect with myself no matter what life brings outside the court. It taught me leadership, resilience, teamwork, and the importance of showing up for one another.
I am endlessly grateful for this sport, for the opportunities it created, for the friendships it brought into my life, and for the joy it gives me every single day. Catchball is not just a hobby for me anymore — it became part of who I am.
My biggest hope is to see this beautiful sport continue to grow and reach more women, touching their lives the same way it touched mine. Every woman deserves to experience the strength, connection, confidence, and sense of belonging that catchball brings. It has the power to change lives — and I truly believe it already changed mine.
